Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

So I met Pauline and David for lunch at The Cork today, for food and a good natter. I haven't seen Pauline since early November so we had a bit of catching up to do. They very kindly treated me to lunch and I inhaled the all day breakfast :) Sooo very full! Sadly, something in it has disagreed with me because I've got a bit of a tummy ache :( Dunno what though, there was nothing there I haven't eaten before with no ill effects. Mind you, it could be something from last night, I guess. Ah well.

I was supposed to scamper and do shopping today but was so full after lunch, I came home instead. I'll have to go out verrry early tomorrow if I want any grub over Christmas. I am seriously contemplating having pizza for Christmas lunch and why not? I'll see what's in and tempting :)

And now I must get back to the serious bizness of loafing for England :D *flumps*

...to the Torchwood thing. After checking my account this morning, I decided that while I do have funds, I really can't justify a mid-week trip into London. Plus I'm knackered and another early night wouldn't go amiss. There'll be other things I'll want to see or do more and I'd rather spend the money on those when they occur.

Work was peaceful today, PartyGirl was out at a training course. I sort of miss not having her around but I don't miss BigBouncy constantly coming up to our end of the office and chatting. Also, I got to do some more fun statistics for TooTall in PartyGirl's absence, which prevented me from doing the Paying In Slips o'Doom today. Shame :D

Saw my friend Pauline from my previous job for lunch today. We try to get together every so often for a natter and this time we both had holiday stuff to recount, so that was fun.

The Mets lost last night, dammit. They've got to win the next two games now. *bites nails* And I can't watch because the bloody games are on too late. *shakes fist at stupid MLB and Fox TV*

Ah well, now for tea and NCIS. Hurrah!
