Ooof, busy day today. There was much shifting of paperwork during the working hours, which included a mad scamper through the rain into Hertford to buy stamps for and post my US/Canada bound Christmas cards. The queue at the post office was horrendous but thankfully moved reasonably fast and I was out of there in 20 minutes. As an aside, how daft is it that it costs me more to airmail a card to the USA/Canada than it does to Australia?? Geh, not funny, Post Office!
As FogHorn was leaving early today, I had to catch the train home, which meant scampering down the hill again to the railway station, followed by two trains, a quick trot around Waitrose in WGC and another walk home. My feet are unimpressed - the new shoes I've bought are lovely and comfy but the soles are a bit thin. I may have to invest in those cushioned insole things.
So now I'm sacked out on the sofa, trying to work up the energy to cook tea. I suspect I may resort to opening a tin of something.
And now! Some silliness:-
