Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

Thanks to the ever lovely jenni411, I got a fantastic parcel of goodies today! There was the New York Mets Yearbook, a Pedro magnet and a Davy Wright postcard (from Jenni's Mom), a Pedro badge and 2 Kerry Greenwood proofs. Heee!!

I'm a dolt, I forgot to mention the splendiferous parcel that arrived today from jenni411 :) I had, at least, already thanked her by email so I'm not a total absent-minded rat fink. I got books! And a World Cup magnet! And a World Cup mascot keyring, which is a cute lion wearing leather lederhosen, hat and holding a football. I've called him Rusty - well, he's a rusty brown lion: )

So yayyyy to jenni411 and to the combined efforts of the US and UK postal services who got the parcel from NYC to WGC in five days. Impressive when you consider that it was the long holiday weekend in the US :)

New food crack, that is :)

Today, a huge parcel arrived from my buddy Share, in OK, USA. She mailed this before Christmas and neither of us really expected it to get here before March so it was a lovely surprise in and of itself.

But then I opened it.

OH BOY!!

She's sent me the bestest snack foods! Two whole boxes of Saltines! Three different types of beef jerky! And 3 types of chocolate bars!!

WOO HOOOO!

I've already polished off one bag of the jerky - Jack Link's Premium Smoked Prime Rib. Was delish! The saltines have been investigated and found to be intact, mostly :) Hurrah!

And one of the chocolate bars is my new crack. Newman's Own Organic Sweet Dark Chocolate. OMFG! It was heavenly! *droooooools*

If anyone knows of a good UK equivalent, tell me now!! Or I'm going to have to find me a dark chocolate pusher in the US and do trades! :)
