Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I was tired last night and sleepy and sluggish this morning, which I guess is to be expected. However, another 4 hours have been survived.

I had a fruitless shopping expedition for a new hot water bottle after work - apparently the recent cold snap has meant hot water bottles have been much in demand. Bah! I shall scamper over to my favourite chemists before work tomorrow and see if I can get my paws on one there.

There's a quiz night at work on the 11th, for the Finance teams, and I'm hoping Battleship will be able to find me a spot on a team that's low on numbers. I missed the sign ups which were over a week ago but no-one's going to mind if I attach myself to a team at the last minute. It looks like it'll be a fun evening, there's a buffet laid on and a bar.

I miss the weekly pub quiz night I used to go to in Cambridge. It was fun. If I knew more people locally I'd try and get to one of the many around here - The Cork does one on Tuesdays that could be fun.

*shivers* Right, time to go and kickstart the central heating methinks. Oh for a hot water bottle! *whines loudly!*
