Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

mitchy is currently being given blood and protein shakes (not together) and reading her way through books roughly as quickly as she's being given them. Unfortunately, she isn't responding to the drugs as well as hoped so surgery is becoming more likely. She's also still in Ayot ward with no idea when/if she's getting transferred so if you're sending a card then probably sending it to Ayot will reach her.

In the Flowers Fund we have, whoa, £91.00. And a plan. I'm going to order her flowers to be sent to a friend, who'll then take them in to her so we can be sure that they don't get lost in a ward shuffle. The notes you've left are going to be printed off and taken in as well, so if anyone was wanting to leave a note then comment in here or one of the previous posts and I'll make sure it goes in tomorrow.

Plan, part 2. With the remaining funds over from the donations for the flowers (and any more that anyone would like to make - there's still time!) I'm thinking iPod. She's wanted one for a while and if I get one sent to me, I can load it up with the music and videos she likes and then send it on to friend to take in. If anyone has any objections to their donation being used in that way, let me know before 10AM GMT tomorrow because that's when I'll go ahead with everything :)
